Ashford Commercial Quarter Development
The Commercial Quarter adjoins Ashford International Station, only 38 minutes to London by high speed train since 2009 and providing international access to Europe: 1 hour 52 minutes to Paris, 1 hour 37 minutes from Brussels and 56 minutes to Lille by Eurostar.
The site will bring forward a dynamic new business hub creating:
- 55,000sqm commercial space
- 2,500sqm retail and leisure
- 150 residential units
The site also has the potential to offer tech start-up space and small serviced office space through conversion of existing character buildings.
£1.5million has already been invested in public realm and the site masterplan includes space for a new urban square.
Quinn Estates and George Wilson Holdings in partnership with Ashford Borough Council are building the 60,000 sq ft Phase 1 office building, due to be completed in Spring 2018.
The site benefits from proximity to St Pancras, the regeneration schemes at Kings Cross and the future Google headquarters
The site fronts Station Approach, Station Road and Tannery Lane. It is within a 10-minute walk of the town centre shopping area and the Ashford Designer Outlet.
