Victoria Way East

Site Description

This town centre brownfield site will be transformed as a key piece in the town’s growth and regeneration plans complimenting Victoria Way West.

The southern part of the site consisting of a hotel, 216 homes and three retail units is being developed by U+I and the Carrington Group, and will support the commercial and residential growth between the International Station and the town centre.

The plans on the northern part of the site also include a brewery and visitor centre by the Chapel Down group to expand production and sales of its award-winning Curious Brew brand with a shop, restaurant and bar.

An 18,500 sq ft Aldi supermarket will also be delivered, with 90 parking spaces and generating 60 new jobs; the site compliments the residential plans and town centre retail expansion and will generate £50m of economic growth across ten years.

Location

This town centre site is located opposite the International side of Ashford International Station on Victoria Road. This prime location is located on a main gateway site to the town centre and station, with Victoria Road linking from the A2070 link road out to the A28.
