Victoria Way West
Canterbury-based mixed use developer Quinn Estates, has received planning permission for a total of 660 homes to be developed. The scheme will feature one, two, and three-bedroom flats and 25 houses, alongside new public realm and a cafe, designed by award-winning Hythe-based architect Guy Hollaway.
This site, totalling nine acres, is located next to Victoria Road on the former Powergen site. This strategic regeneration project will help to link Ashford town centre with Victoria Park to the south, creating a new residential community and breathing life into a long unused site. Quinn Estates have exchanged contracts with Neighbour, a specialist residential partner, to deliver approximately 400 of these as modern stylish homes for the private rented sector (PRS), and has signed a deal with GRE Assets, an Oxford based developer, for 267 properties. The site will also deliver a public surface car park to support continued growth within Ashford town centre.
