Finberry is a new community taking shape beside the East Stour River. The collection of cottages and family homes built by Crest Nicholson are surrounded by Kent countryside but within easy reach of Ashford town centre.

The developer received a £2.3million investment from the government to build on the site as part of the Get Britain Building programme. Work began on the land in October 2013 and the first phase of homes at Stour Meadows have been released.

Around 1,800 properties will be built in total along with a new primary school, a health centre and community facilities. A new access road will also be built linking the development to the A2070.

In addition to 200 new trees planted, more than half a mile of hedging, artwork and three ornamental lakes have also been added.

It is very much a new village in the Garden of England.

Green Oaks is the second phase of Crest Nicholson’s Finberry development, a new village in the ‘Garden of England’. The houses are available on the popular Help to Buy scheme, so are the perfect choice for both first time buyers and families looking to gain some extra space in the countryside.
