Finberry is a new community beside the East Stour River. The collection of cottages and family homes built by Crest Nicholson is surrounded by Kent countryside but within easy reach of Ashford town centre.

The developer received a £2.3million investment from the government to build on the site as part of the Get Britain Building programme. Work began on the land in October 2013 and the development is now in its fourth phase.

Finberry incorporates 1,800 properties along with a new primary school, health centre and community facilities. A new access road links the development to the A2070.

In addition to 200 new trees planted, more than half a mile of hedging, artwork and three ornamental lakes have also been added.

It is very much a new village in the Garden of England.
