David Lloyd Leisure set open new health club in Ashford

Ashford Borough Council has approved plans for David Lloyd Leisure to open its third leisure centre on Waterbrook Park in Ashford.

The luxury complex will feature three tennis courts, six padel courts, a multi-use court, a gym, two sports halls, and a children’s activity area, four swimming pools, and a spa.

An inflatable air dome is set to cover the tennis courts which will enable gym goers to play all year round and in all weather conditions

Fresh food and drink will be served up in the dedicated café area.

The health club will offer 248 parking spaces, including 10 disabled and four parent-child spaces.

In addition, the development will generate 70 to 100 full and part-time jobs in Ashford.

The facility will be built on a patch of land just off the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road.
