What is Elwick Place?

Designed by architects Hollaway, Elwick Place is a 100,000 square foot leisure and restaurant development in the heart of Ashford, Kent which opened in December 2018. It includes The Ashford Cinema, nine retail and restaurant units and a Travelodge hotel.

  • Matches Sports Bar, Grill & Social: Having opened in June 2021, Matches Sports Bar, Grill & Social is the ideal spot for sports fans. A selection of Ultra-HD television screens show a variety of live sports from around the world throughout the day. The Ashford Cinema is your local 6-screen cinema, café, workspace and bar. Located at Elwick Place, in the heart of Ashford Town Centre, our space is open to everyone to meet, eat, watch, and explore. We have a kitchen serving tasty pizzas, toasties, burgers & hot dogs, and a fully stocked bar.   • Travelodge: Located right in the town centre and next to the International Station, the new 58-room Travelodge hotel is perfect for people visiting for leisure or business.

Car parking

Adjacent to the development is a 282-space car park, which includes four electric vehicle charging points. The car park is free after 3pm every day and until 9am the next day.

Opposite Elwick Place is the County Square shopping centre, with its own multi-storey car park.
