Azets

Some may recognise Finn-Kelcey & Chapman (since the 1920s) and Wilkins Kennedy (merger in 2008) as more prominent names, however we are now known as Azets and have been since 2016, located in Ashford town centre.

Azets have 3,800 employees across the UK and we pride ourselves on providing a personalised compliance and business advisory service for a variety of Ashford and its surrounding area businesses.

We have recognised the significant investments that are transforming Ashford. Key infrastructure projects include the Ashford Designer Outlet expansion, the Chilmington Green development, the new Commercial Quarter, and ahead include Brompton’s bicycle factory and Ashford International Studios Project. These developments are creating more commercial spaces, attracting new businesses and enhancing the overall appeal of the town.

With its excellent transport links, including the High Speed rail service to London, Ashford is an attractive location for businesses that require easy access to the capital. The town’s proximity to the Channel Tunnel and ports in Dover and Folkestone also provide easy access to European markets, which is beneficial for businesses involved in import and export.

Ashford is one of the fastest growing towns in the UK, with significant investments in infrastructure and development. This growth creates a dynamic business environment with increasing opportunities. As a result we are delighted to be positioned at the heart of it with our office next to Ashford International Station in Ashford Commercial Quarter

Working collaboratively with Hallett & Co. and Barclays we host regular Ashford Breakfast Club meetings to provide the local businesses an update on what’s happening in the Borough and how it may impact what they do.

We recognise how Ashford Borough Council provides various support services and incentives for businesses, including grants, training programmes, and networking opportunities through organisations like the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce (KICC).

“Ashford has a diverse and skilled workforce, with proximity to several universities and colleges that supply a steady stream of graduates. We warmly welcome new recruits from the area who have the local knowledge and expertise to assist in servicing our clients.” Katie Hodson, Partner, Azets

We work closely with the KICC and as we sit on the Board of the Ashford Economic Development Group we can keep our clients up to date with the Borough’s upcoming projects. We specifically enjoy co-hosting the Annual Economic Seminar at the Chamber. It is a key event in the calendar which local businesses enjoy as both the informative and supportive.

Azets are keen to support the new generation and support them in their career journeys. As a result Azets head up ‘Ashford Developing Professionals’ as an introduction to networking. The group meets on a regular basis at various locations across the town to meet new people in a relaxed and engaging environment.
