Crest Nicholson celebrated this success by winning the 2017 Sunday Times British Homes awards for ‘Outstanding Landscaping’.

“This award win was a fantastic achievement for Crest Nicholson,” recalls Andrew Dobson, Managing Director, Crest Nicholson Strategic Projects.

“There were significant natural and technical challenges we had to overcome to make the site viable, including building flood relief systems, two bridges and an access junction. However, these challenges provided us with a brilliant opportunity to use the site’s natural features to create a sense of arrival in harmony with the existing countryside.

“The site is a key growth area for Ashford Borough Council, providing much needed housing and community assets and on top of this, we’ve worked hard to ensure that Finberry is a thoughtfully designed and beautifully landscaped development. To be named winner of the ‘Outstanding landscaping for housing’ was a real testament to the success of the team’s work.”
